Fashion Friday: Patterned Midi Skirt Blues

July 6, 2018

I’ve acquired a few new pieces lately that are making a SPLASH in my Closet!!

MERMAID

I was told that I looked a Mermaid in this STUNNING Sunburst Pleated Midi Skirt (this skirt is now sold out but you can find several new options available for resale)!  I WILL TAKE IT!!!  This skirt has such great movement and color!  I will have to hide this from myself!!!  I could live in this!!!!  This skirt is currently on sale and is a STEAL at $18 (It was not that cheap when I bought it!  I’m on the phone right now trying to get a price adjustment!)!!!!  It pairs so well with a silver topchambray shirt, or statement tee. My preferred accessories are an African Beaded Necklace and silver clutch!  I have some throwback Schutz pumps that are no longer available that added just the right pop of color to complete my look (my favorite Schutz Mirrored Heels are a great alternative.

GINGHAM

Blue is my favorite color (can you tell???  I’m clearly feeling the blues in a MAJOR way) so I could not pass up on this Gingham Skirt.  There are so many ways that I can wear this!  It would be perfect with a light blue button-up shirt, a pop of color sleeveless top (I’m leaning yellow so I’m on the look out for a new top!) or denim top.  Works perfectly with a blue clutch to remain classic or add a pop of color zip pouch (I opted to stand out! Surprising, I KNOW!!!) to stand out!  One must finish it with a stunning shoe!  I went with my favorite Schutz Mirrored Heels.

Sequins

I have not worn this Sequin Skirt yet but I can’t wait for the opportunity!  It’s SO MAJOR!!!  The options are limitless but I am certain that I will be wearing my Schutz Mirrored Heels!!!  I know I will want to make the green pop!  I  love the navy tee it is styled with but could also rock a bodysuit or crisp white button-up.  The clutch would be perfect compliment to it bring it all together!

Happy Shopping! – Z’Marie
